Outreach/EPA Merit Award

Katrina Kipp, a Green Needham member who works for the EPA, suggested that Green Needham apply for an EPA Environmental Award. She thinks the work we're doing would be a good fit for the award.

The Green Needham steering committee talked over this idea. We're very excited about the opportunity and the visibility it could bring to Green Needham and our mission. But we felt that we had a lot on our plate this spring and that we'd be in a better position to compete for the award next year (early 2010) as we would have more results from our initiatives.
