Local CSAs and Community Farm Programs

What is a CSA?

CSA stands for "Community Supported Agriculture," a model that is increasingly being used by small, sustainable farms to sell their produce and help manage the risk inherent in the farming business. By joining a CSA, a shareholder enjoys the benefit of freshly picked, organic produce throughout the growing season. CSA members pick up their shares on a weekly basis. CSAs often offer opportunities to pick your own, volunteer and community building opportunities as well as educational programs.
