From Green Needham
This is where we'll research, develop and vet questions for out "20 Questions" activity.
- The idea is to hand out the list of questions - really a list of "things you can do" and ask people to check off the ones they do.
- Some should be easy, to ensure that most people can check off something
- Others should have the tangible benefits attached - a hook
- The objective of this activity is to get people engaged, make them realize they are already doing some things and give them ideas for things they can do. Get everyone to do something they aren't doing!

Recycling at the RTS
Do you bring your paper, cardboard and containers (plastic and metal) to the RTS?
Did you know that about 1/3 of the recyclying volume at the RTS comes from private trash haulers in Needham? So if you have your trash picked up, you should be able to say yes. If not, ask your hauler why not!
This should be one everyone can check off.
Replacing light bulbs with CFLs
Have you replaced light bulbs in your house with Compact Fluorescent Lights?
Did you know possibilities:
- Typical savings
- Recycling at the RTS
Furnace or boiler
Is your furnace or boiler more than 20 years old?
If so did you know that you can probably save at least 25% on your yearly fuel bill by installing a new, high-efficiency furnace or boiler without making any other changes to your heating system?
